The Kaizen Institute, the consulting group specialized in continuous improvement for improved profitability and sustainable growth, today announced the winners of its Kaizen Lean Awards.
Held at Madrid’s Palacio de Cibeles, where major companies from all sectors gathered together, in this sixth implementation of the programme the award for Excellence in Growth Strategy went to Grupo Calvo.
For several years now, Grupo Calvo has been deploying a model of operational excellence known as the Calvo Excellence System (CES). As the product of an exceptional change yielding significant results in terms of profitability, the Galician food company has extended the Kaizen dynamic for defining and rolling out the strategy, whilst ensuring company growth and improvement initiatives for sales, innovation and profitability throughout the organization.
