Gomes da Costa

Gomes da Costa has been the leading brand in Brazil for more than 60 years in the sardines sector, also in Argentina, and in tuna. In 2004 the brand joined Grupo Calvo portfolio.

Nostromo Brand

Nostromo

With more than 60 years, Nostromo is the third brand in the canned tuna sector in Italy. In 1993 the brand began to be part of Grupo Calvo.

Today, the unique qualities and positioning of each one of our brands enable the Calvo Group to offer consumers the most complete range of products.

Our offering not only includes products from the sea, such as canned tuna, sardines, mussels and calamari, but salads, prepared dishes, pâtés and canned vegetables as well. We work on all of these products through out R&D+i area to provide the market with a wide variety of products devised with consumer health in mind.

We also dedicate effort to the catering and hotel industry. For this reason, we were the first to introduce the flexible pouch as a packing option, firstly for tuna and other processed seafood and later for ready-made dishes.
